Vagator Beach
Vagator Beach is considered to be one the most attractive beaches in Goa. It is situated a little bit north from the Anjuna Beach resort, 10 km to the west from the Mapusa resort, near the Chapora Fort which crowns the cape in the south where the same named river runs into the Indian ocean.
Traditionally European and Israeli tourist are coming for vacations to Vagator. The resort is also a place of permanent residence of many foreigners. The village if alluringly cozy you can find neat apartments and guesthouse as well luxury villas here. There also several hotels in Vagator, but in general the place is less crowded than the neighboring resorts. It is much quieter and more peaceful even despite the acquitted image of a party place, because after the sunset all noise stops here.
Vagator is the best place for vacations not only for newly-weds and people in love, but also for elderly couple and families with children. The most ideal season for holiday in Vagator is winter. The climate is humid, from November till March the weather is clear and warm and sea is clam.
The beach of Vagator resort is rockey and sandy just like the entrance into the sea. The sea bottom is deep, the water is sometime very rough. In the southern part of the beach which is called the small Vagator you can find some naturally appearing placid bays, where you can bath with undersirable pleasure. The adventurous look makes the beach an interesting place for kids to play.
