Vagator Beach 

Vagator Beach is considered to be one the most attractive beaches in Goa. It is situated a little bit north from the Anjuna Beach resort, 10 km to the west from the Mapusa resort, near the Chapora Fort which crowns the cape in the south where the same named river runs into the Indian ocean.

Traditionally European and Israeli tourist are coming for vacations to Vagator. The resort is also a place of permanent residence of many foreigners. The village if alluringly cozy you can find neat apartments and guesthouse as well luxury villas here. There also several hotels in Vagator, but in general the place is less crowded than the neighboring resorts. It is much quieter and more peaceful even despite the acquitted image of a party place, because after the sunset all noise stops here.

Vagator is the best  place for vacations not only for newly-weds and people in love, but also for elderly couple and families with children. The most ideal season for holiday in Vagator is winter. The climate is humid, from November till March the weather is clear and warm and sea is clam.

The beach of Vagator resort is rockey and sandy just like the entrance into the sea. The sea bottom is deep, the water is sometime very rough. In the southern part of the beach which is called the small Vagator you can find some naturally appearing placid bays, where you can bath with undersirable pleasure. The adventurous look makes the beach an interesting place for kids to play.

Candolim Beach

Candolim is very much popular for its pristine touch and alot of amusement option all around. Located very close to Baga, this beach is counted amongst the loveliest spot. For honeymoon couples, friends or families. Its  is endorsed by a crest of the dunes and lapped by the warm Arabian ocean. Just 14 km away from north Panaji, the white sandy beach of Candolim normally embellished by the scrub covered dunes and draws a large number of travel enthusiasts from all across the world.

On the other side, the main road named as the Candolim Calangute road  is fully packed with shops and restaurant, but no doubt the beach front has plenty of water activities like water-skiing, parasailing, bump rides, jet skiing, catamaran sailing banana rides and wind surfing. Apart from all these, fishing is also popular for the one who want peaceful environment. Side by side, meditation, yoga and massage have also gained huge popularity as visitors love to experience and enjoy such pleasant atmosphere.With a huge varity of seafood, different cuisines cooked in Goan style to handicraft items and casual garments, everything you'll get there what you seek for.

 Candolim offers all kinds of water activities for adventure freaks. So, everyone should try your hand at jet skiing, bump rides, wind surfing and other water sports. you can also experience thrilling adventure trip by taking a guided boat trip, where you can spot dolphins and crocodiles.

The Candolim Beach is an enchanting beach that stetches from Aguada Fort to Chapora Beach  There are plenty of places to visit near and around the seashore. The diamond hazes of beach, picturesque view of churches and historical forts are ultimate in Goa.

Anjuna Beach 

Anjuna is a picturesque little sea village in North Goa, on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Discovered by the flower children in the late 60s it still remain the undisputed capital of Goa's rave scene. Its colourful past and vivacious present have given it a surreal quality where anything goes. All kinds of people congregate here to party up a storm and later unwind at  its many laid back beaches.

Anjuna is a huge that there is actually a south, middle and north Anjuna beach. Most of the hotels,bars,and restaurants are clustered around the north beach area. The St.Anthony's church is worth a visit and the Flea Market makes the village come alive with colour every Wednesday. This colourful market was begun by the hippies who lived here in 1970s, however, today one finds a large number of Tibetans, Kashmiris and Lamanis women peddling all kind of trinkets and clothes from all over India. An eclectic array of goodies can be found here, don't be surprised to come across some good quality hummus and yak cheese.

shallow red laterite cliffs border Anjuna's beach, terraced coconut plantation add a dash of vivid green to its landscape and silverywhite sands welcome the azure water that endlessly wash over it and then recede. Anjuna's abundant natural beauty has made it perfect setting for many a hopping beach party.The beaches here also have a laid atmosphere many restaurants offer an array of global cuisines.

The nightlife is what Anjuna is really famous for. From raves on moonlit beaches to very many trance bars, Anjuna always has many simultaneous parties each night to keep things rocking. Water sports are another added attraction here, limited mostly to the calmer south beach area, snorkelling around the rocks allows one to spot a  large variety of sea life.

Baga Beach

Baga Beach is a popular beach and tourist destination in North Goa. Baga is located at the north end of the contiguous beach stretch that starts from Sinquerim ,Candolim , leads to Calangute and then to Baga. It is seaside town in Bardez,Goa ,India. It comes under the jurisdiction of Calangute, which is 2 km south. Baga is known for its popular beach ana Baga Creek. It is visited by thousands of tourists annually.

The beach contains rows of shacks and fishing boats, and at high tide the beach is narrow. The beach is named after the Baga Creek, which empties into the Arabian Sea at the northern end of the beach.  Baga is also famous for water sports such as parasailing and banana rides, and dolpin cruises. In Baga Beach, new parking has been constructed for around 800 cars more, and there is Baga creek bridge which connects northern part like Anjuna etc. 

Baga Beach in Goa looks as if has come straight out of a painting. Majestic white waves rushing to wipe out the feet imprints left by you on the white sand while the wind continues with the palm trees.

The Baga Beach is more of a fishing beach with the tourist from across the world trying to get that big catch. 

Goa's Baga beach is small but perfect beach located between its two more famous cousins, Anjuna on one side and Calangute on the other It is a good place to enjoy some quite moments and dwell in peaceful contemplation with oneself.

The Baga River flows down from one side offering a plaesant for children and those who love the water but can't risk the rip currents that round  the mouth, where the river and the sea meet and on the far right bank,tourist at Baga beach will see a group of black rock against which the sea crashes.

Beaches

Well i must say its never easy to shortlist only 10 beaches in Goa .Especially when you're in love with most of them. Every beach in this lovely state has their own unique to topographies and charm. Its like asking a mother to choose her best child. Everyone is different and incomparable. Same goes with the beaches in Goa, All have their own distinctiveness and beauty.

Apart from attracting tourist from all over India, it also attracts tourist of foreign background. During the months of November,December, and January Goa is heavily crowded. the real essence of Goa lies in its rich history,unique culture and the original beauty.

Goa is popular state located in west India which is famous for its beaches.The deep blue sea,soft sand,coconut trees,delicious  sea food ,water sports and night life.

Goa view can be best viewed while travelling on the bike. The sandy beaches,coconut trees,waterfalls truly add flavor to the Goan natural view. Lush green field, majestic forests,train track,long road and cool breeze make up for the perfect view.

Calangute Beach 

Calangute beach is also known as Queen  of Beach.The period from November to February is the pleasant to visit here. the calangute beach is usually crowded and the small resorts thrive in business during the holidays. It is one of the most popular beach in Goa with a host of facilities to cater to visitors,including golden sand,it has water sports,markets,restaurant,good food,lots of accommodation options.It is a crowded yet beautiful sea beach. Calangute is famous for its nightlife and the famous pubs of Goa including the Tito's lane are located close by .

The streets of the village opened to a vast sea front that contrasts well with the congested markets of the place. Though the night life is silent post 10 pm,Calangute is a place where one can enjoy the music of the waves under the starry  sky.
